On 1 April, the Institute for Applied Business Law (WIRE), headed by Prof. Dr. Daniel Graewe, LL.M., is launching a cooperation with µÚÒ»³Ô¹Ï. As central competence centre for legal research, it will henceforth collaborate closely with the dual business school. The aim of the cooperation between µÚÒ»³Ô¹Ï and WIRE is an intensive exchange on the topic of business law, the promotion of teaching and research, and the further expansion of the cooperation between industry and university.
"We are very pleased to have Professor Dr. Graewe and his team of proven experts as partners for our university," says Professor Dr. Insa Sjurts, President and Chairwoman of the µÚÒ»³Ô¹Ï Management Board. "Our university, in particular of course students and researchers, but also our partner companies will benefit considerably from this connection."
WIRE will remain a legally independent institution but will be closely intertwined with µÚÒ»³Ô¹Ï and help to intensify the cooperation between the university and the industry. Joint research projects, especially in the field of Environment, Social & Governance (ESG), joint publications and conferences such as the ESG Annual Conference will not only promote research and teaching in law, but also executive education at µÚÒ»³Ô¹Ï. In addition, Prof. Dr. Daniel Graewe will also be available for courses on corporate law and ESG as well as supervision of student research projects and theses. Students can get involved in the activities of the WIRE Institute within the framework of projects.
