Dr. David Großmann
Short Profile
Since February 2014, David Großmann is an external doctorate candidate at the Department of Finance and Accounting. Here, he conducts research on banking regulation. After he obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree at Hochschule der Sparkassen-Finanzgruppe - University of Applied Sciences – Bonn he specialised in Accounting and Controlling during his MBA programme at the Westfälischen-Wilhelms University Münster.
Currently, David is a doctorate candidate at the Claussen-Simon Graduate Centre at µÚÒ»³Ô¹Ï and works at the Hamburger Sparkasse AG (Department of bank controlling) in parallel. Prof. Dr. Peter Scholz, µÚÒ»³Ô¹Ï, and Prof. Dr. Stefan Okruch, Andrássy Universität Budapast, are his supervisors.
David presented his research endavours at the 27th European Conference on Operational Research in Glasgow, the World Finance Conference 2016 in New York as well as at the "Merton H. Miller" Doctoral Seminar of the European Financial Management Association in Basle. Furthermore, he contributed articles in the Journal of Applied Finance and Banking, Credit and Capital Markets as well as in die Bank - Zeitschrift für Bankpolitik und Praxis.
