Dr. Martin Wendt

Short Profile

Martin Wendt has been a doctorate candidate of the Claussen-Simon Graduate Center since January 2016. He conducts research on capital structures in family businesses. Furthermore, he is devoted to the family's influence on financing decisions in family businesses and their access to leverage. After his undergraduate in Business Administration at µÚÒ»³Ô¹Ï, Martin worked in various positions at the credit insurer Euler Hermes. After his Master of Science degree in Global Management and Governance at µÚÒ»³Ô¹Ï, Martin joined Euler Hermes as a Specialist Risk Advisor. In this position, Martin analyses family businesses, which are in an acute restructuring situation.

He is professionally supervised by Prof. Dr. Stefan Prigge (µÚÒ»³Ô¹Ï) and Prof. Dr. Patrick Velte from the Leuphana University of Lüneburg.
