Sustainability Manager (m/w/d)

Requirements

You are familiar with the following regulations and frameworks, related to transportation and supply chain activities for Scope 1 and Scope 3 (especially Scope 3.4/3.9)

  • CSRD > ESRS E1
  • GHG Protocol Corporate Standard and Value Chain Standard
  • SBTi (min. sector-agnostic approach, ideally transport sector standards)
  • GLEC Framework
  • ISO 14083

In addition to sector-specific frameworks like ISO 14083 and GLEC, you have knowledge of national quantification methodologies and sources of emission factors, such as DEFRA (UK) and ADEME (France).

You are proficient in both English and German and enthusiastic about hosting knowledge-sharing webinars for our LinkedIn community.

General Responsibilities

  • Research evolving sustainability trends and be a source of knowledge to the team and customers
  • Being application owner for the calculation tool EcoTransIT
  • Collaborate with our tech team to build the market-leading compliance and collaboration platform for Scope 3 transport emissions
  • Conduct knowledge-sharing webinars about the latest developments in sustainability

Tasks

We are currently working on the requirements engineering of the following features, which shall be developed within the next 3 months.

Thus, you will be mainly working on the following topics:

  1. Enhancement Database Structure: Identify data fields according to the GHG, CSRD/ESRS and ISO14083 to establish the infrastructure for Compliance Reports, Dashboard and API’s (started; expected completion by end of May 2024)
  2. Ensuring compliance with the SFC Reporting Standard: 
  3. Compliance Questionnaire: Supplier Survey to assess reported carbon emissions according to requirements of ISO14083 (requirements engineering completed > final review > scheduled for development in June 2024)
  4. Compliance Dashboard according to ISO14083 // CSRD/ESRS
  5. Target Setting according to SBTi
